I just believe having a progress bar is a nice touch though as atleast if a user wants to watch the installation, he/she has an indication of how far it has got. I have ActiveTcl installed by default in the C:\ActiveTcl directory and have in the PATH only C:\ActiveTcl\bin 2. With Active TCL and Expect, I should be able to run the script from my PC. C:\Tcl\bin and C:\ActiveTcl\bin Maybe you mix 2 versions, one installed properly and other not. I need to log into about 60 routers, run the same show commands on each router. The whole installation will probably consist of 5 scripts, and all the installation will be automated via AutoIT. As is common on macOS, the installed Pythons and the Tcl and Tk frameworks are built to run on multiple CPU architectures (universal binaries) and across. I don't understand why you have 2 paths for tcl, i.e. ![]() ![]() I do find by using Visual basic as the front end is quite good though, as it provides a simple front end with buttons that can call the scripts and wait for each one to finish before proceeding to the next and then recording progress. #ACTIVETCL PLEASE RUN THE INSTALL SCRIPT DOWNLOAD#But have started to think that this might be overkill as i'm literally creating the installer myself.
